Inclusive ICR Offers Free DEI Assessment
Inclusive ICR, a local coalition with a mission to grow diversity and inclusion in the workforce throughout the region, has launched a free Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) assessment. The assessment, known as the DEI Index, is a free, confidential evaluation of a company/nonprofit's position through the lens of five DEI pillars. After completion of the assessment, each organization will receive a custom summary identifying the current position and opportunities for growth. June 14th Workshop to Focus on Inclusive Marketing
In partnership with The Arc of East Central Iowa through grant support from The Arc of the US, Top RANK will lead the Inclusive Advertising & Marketing Event on Wednesday, June 14, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. The special event will focus on inclusive representation in advertising, marketing, and communications. The event is free, but registration is required and seats are limited. ATD's 2023 Nonprofit Training Day on June 22
The Hawkeye Chapter of the Association for Talent Development will host the 2023 Nonprofit Training Day "Unlocking Nonprofit Talent" on Thursday, June 22, from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at Mt. Mercy University's CRST International Graduate Center in Cedar Rapids. The cost is $40 which includes sessions, materials, lunch, snacks, and beverages. Register and more information here.
Iowa Nonprofit Alliance Hosting Launch Events Across Iowa
The Iowa Nonprofit Alliance (INA) is hosting launch events across the state this year to celebrate the formation of the INA. The Iowa City launch will be held on Wednesday, May 17, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Stanley Museum of Art in Iowa City. Registration is required.
