WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!

On December 16, 2024 a big dream came true. Actually, a million or so prayers were answered and we bought a house adjoining the existing camp property! This was another huge move to ready the camp for the many leadership transitions that are in the planning stage to happen in the spring of 2026. God’s plan through God’s people brought in the $600,000 needed to purchase this house in about SIXTY DAYS! Camp Jonah is beautifully operating with no debt and the ownership of five adjoining properties. Let’s rejoice and be glad in what God has – and is doing!

CAMP JONAH PRAYER 2025

Psalm 146:1-5 Our paraphrase from The Message:

Hallelujah! O Camp Jonah people, praise God! For 28 years of miracles and provision, we praise God, singing songs to our God as long as we live. We purpose to not put our lives and the ministry of this camp in the hands of “experts” who know nothing of life, of salvation life, of you, Jesus. Mere humans don’t have what it takes. They just don’t know you. When they die, their projects and possessions die with them. Instead, we seek help from the God of Jacob, from you, our Camp Director. When we put our hope in God, we know true blessing! God made sky and soil, sea and all the fish in it. You are the One who has orchestrated the beautiful history and testimony of Camp Jonah. You always do what you say—you defend the wronged and feed the hungry. You are Love! You love to use Camp Jonah as part of your plan to free prisoners, give sight to the blind, lift up the fallen, to love good people, protect strangers, take the side of orphans and widows, and make short work of the wicked. You, God, are always in charge. God is always and forever the Camp Director of Camp Jonah. Hallelujah!

We declare 2025 to be a Year of Jubilee and Jubilation, focusing on renewed relationships, as well as a year of glorious praise and endless gratitude to our God.

“The Lord has done great things for us; we are overjoyed!” (Psalm 126:3).

“Keep on giving thanks to God, for he is so good! His constant, tender love lasts forever!” (Psalm 118:1).

“All that we have accomplished, God has done for us!” (Isaiah 26:12).
