Empowering the Next Generation: Celebrating Youth Sunday & Youth Week

It's official Youth Week - a time to empower and encourage the next generation of believers! From teaching Sunday school to leading worship, our students have stepped up in faith and service. Last Sunday, they led Sunday School classes, and this Sunday, they’ll take over the entire worship service—greeting guests, running cameras, and leading music. The youth praise band and choir will lead us in worship, and Campbell and Shayne will share God’s word in the morning sermon. Join us as we celebrate their leadership and the vibrant faith of our youth!

Meet your Student Pastors, Campbell & Shayne!

Hi, my name is Campbell Pleasant, and I have the honor of being one of the student pastors for this year's Youth Sunday. I have had the privilege to call Snyder my home for many years now. Throughout the years I have participated in Sunday school, youth choir, life groups, praise band, church camps, and so much more. This place has been where I’ve built lasting friendships and formed meaningful connections with people I now consider mentors. Growing up in this church has opened so many doors for me and has shaped me into the person I am today. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to preach this coming Sunday.

My name is Shayne Flowers, and like Campbell, I also have the privilege of serving as a student pastor for Youth Sunday. My journey at Snyder began in 6th grade when Campbell invited me to visit, and from that moment on, this church has been a place of growth, friendship, and faith for me. Over the years, I’ve become actively involved in youth choir, life groups, Sunday school, and the student leadership team. In 2024, my family and I officially became members, and Snyder became more than just a place I attended—it became my church home. The friendships I’ve made and the community I’ve found here have strengthened my faith and shaped me into the person I am today. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve and share God’s word with you all this Sunday.
