Greetings!
It’s been more than 16 months since Super Typhoon Odette crashed into Bohol, leaving the island without electricity and running water for months and destroying much of Camp Karis. Your giving helped clear the 140 downed mango trees and 50 coconut trees, replace roofs, purchase a new generator, and relocate all the electrical wiring underground.

Because of generous giving, Camp Karis became operational before the summer season in 2022. Last summer, the camp hosted 13 Bible youth camps with 1,873 youths. Praise the Lord that 130 youths received Christ!

Just last month, the camp hosted 562 campers who were fortunate to hear the gospel.

Camp Karis is a ministry of CCI Philippines. The camp's purpose is to provide a place for evangelism, nurturing, discipling, and holding events to train and equip people for ministry service. Local churches and mission groups are the primary users.

The camp recently held a seminar in the session hall, but the participants wanted to avoid returning because it was too hot. There are no large, air-conditioned meeting rooms at Camp Karis. Adding air-conditioning to the session hall would be a blessing so it can comfortably hold camp meetings, seminars, weddings, and more.

The camp's session hall has been enclosed with tinted windows and doors in preparation for air-conditioning. The approximate cost to add air-conditioning to the session hall is $15,000.

Additionally, Camp Karis' windmill was destroyed in the typhoon and was removed. The camp needs a tank, plumbing, and welding of the frame. This high-water tank is necessary for the gravity-fed water supply for the second floor of a cabin. Right now, there is now only a weak water supply for the bathrooms.
We appreciate your investment in this vital ministry. To help Camp Karis with these projects, you can give a gift by clicking here.

Over the years, Camp Karis has touched countless lives of young people, families, and churches. Thank you for your generosity in helping restore the camp to a beacon of light for the community.
Grace and Peace,
