Hello MVNA neighbors!

The MVNA board is excited to invite you to a presentation on creating backyard gardens in Central Oregon. Ashley Joyce with Bend Urban Gardens will present on all things vegetable gardens, Monday, March 20, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. From the beginning gardeners just starting out to the old timers looking for a few new tips, we will review what to plant, how to plant it, and how to keep it from dying in an early freeze. We will also have a seeds and garden-themed raffle to help get you started planning your garden!

Please join us at the Deschutes Children's Foundation East Bend Campus, located at 2125 NE Daggett Lane.

For those who prefer to join us virtually, we also will have a Zoom meeting open, though due to limited technology, the sound or video quality may be minimal. See below for the Zoom link.

  2. Backyard Gardens with Ashley Joyce: one-hour presentation and Q & A.
  3. Board Business: Jan/Feb minutes approval and reports on on-going NA projects: Land Use and STRs, Transportation: and the Purcell Action Group, NLA, NART, and the City Council goal setting feedback, and other City initiatives.
  4. Adjourn
