Groundhog Day Fireside!

Discover what Groundhog Day is all about when you meet our guest of honor, a five-foot tall groundhog!


Learn what it means when the groundhog sees its shadow, hear the secrets of its amazing winter life, and step outdoors to visit its home. Dress warmly for the weather. Then make your own groundhog shadow puppet while sipping hot chocolate indoors.

Devonshire Preschool Open House

Visit our program for children ages 2-4

Meet our teachers, tour our classrooms, and learn all about the Devonshire Preschool program, including information about registration for the 2024-2025 school year.


Skokie's Devonshire Preschool is an arts-focused program offering state-of-the-art classrooms for children ages two to four. Class times and days conveniently meet the needs of your preschooler, providing a developmentally-appropriate curriculum that fosters each child’s social, emotional, language, physical and intellectual growth. Teachers with early childhood education degrees plan activities around a weekly theme. Field trips and extended-day enrichment packages are also offered in the program.
