Dear Parents,

This week was all about moms and that special person in their life. Our annual 3 day Muffins With "Mom" event was a huge success. Approximately 90% of our students had their mom, grandma, or aunt here for the event. They shared a mini muffin and banana and enjoyed getting special hand made gifts. Thank you a million times to our staff who worked so hard over the past weeks to complete projects that I know you will treasure.

We had a special photo shoot and printed and laminated photos for our special guests. The photos were also posted on our school Facebook page. If you see them please comment and share. They can also be seen on our school website. Simply go to the parent corner and scroll down to the news and announcements section. I also sent a direct link in the Brightwheel messages so you can look back and click the link.

I want to take a moment to recognize your child's teacher. They spend in some case 8-10 hours a day with your child. When you are not here, they step in as "mom" loving, nurturing, kissing boo boos, giving hugs and teaching your child. Mother's Day is a great time to thank these SCHOOL MOMS for the role they play in your child's lives.

Thank you to everyone who turned in the teacher gift envelopes. We will be collecting them for the next 2 weeks and give the gifts to staff on the last day of school. Although certainly not mandatory, your participation helps staff to know how grateful you are for their time, talents, and love.

Special thanks to the Rainbow parents for such a SUPER DELICIOUS Teacher Appreciation Lunch. The staff enjoyed all of your yummy treats! Next week the lunch will be sponsored by the Orange and Purple Door Parents.

Be sure to check out the Camp Calendar. It is on the front door of the school to see all the fun that is in store. We will be having Karate and possibly Ballet over the summer. There will be a sign up sheets for both enrichment programs.

May 31: VPK Graduation, NO SCHOOL THAT DAY FOR VPK

June 1: K/1 Assemblies, NO SCHOOL FOR K/1 that day

SILVER DOOR 9:30 am, GOLD DOOR 11:30 am

June 2: Closed for Camp Prep

June 5: Camp Begins, children change to their new classes.
