Sadly, the medical mission trip to South Sudan, scheduled to begin next week, was canceled due to unrest in that area. Dr. Gregg and Nadine, our surgical technologist, are saddened by the cancelation but recognize that the medical staff's and patients' safety is paramount. They both look forward to these trips, where they can help so many underserved cleft lip patients and share the gospel with them and their families.

Dr. Wu has been adding the Renuvion® Skin Tightening procedure to her Avéli® cellulite reduction treatments with impressive results. She combines Renuvion® with Avéli® in cases where skin laxity or sagging accompanies cellulite dimples on the buttocks and thighs, which results in a non-surgical gluteal augmentation. Avéli is very effective for removing the appearance of cellulite but does not address skin laxity. This new combination treatment is an excellent option for patients with both issues. Dr. Wu was honored to serve as faculty at the Allergan Surgical Solutions Symposium Master's Track in Miami on February 28-March 1. A focused group of 65 surgeons attended to learn more about techniques in revisional breast surgery. Dr. Wu presented on the management of challenging explant revision and augmentation surgery. It was a busy weekend of teaching and collaboration. She believes in the importance of advanced training for all surgeons and is pleased to share her expertise and knowledge with others.
