OUR FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS NEED FAMILIES!!


Raphael, 16, from France, needs a host family. He would like to attend KMHS. He is interested in sports like basketball, tennis and volleyball, movies, and is a good student. Nuria from Spain, 15, likes sports, dance, social activities, pets, volleyball, American football, and tennis.


The student's families pay all expenses, and provide their medical insurance. Both students speak English. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn about other cultures. Movin’ on to Kindergarten

June 19-July 28 (No Class July 3 & 4)


This program is designed only for children who are entering five year old Kindergarten in the fall. The

purpose of this program is to provide an enjoyable transition to school. Children will be introduced to the basics of Kindergarten. They will become more confident as they look forward to their first school year starting in the fall.


Past experience has shown that children who have attended this class have found themselves to be one step closer to Kindergarten readiness. This class runs periods 1 through 4.

KMHS Sports Crushing It!

JV Lasers Baseball Ends Season with Big Win


JV1 baseball beat Waukesha North 14-4. The team effort featured 19 total hits, including notable performances by Emmet Kelchen (4 for 5, two doubles & a triple, 4 RBIs), Jake Spellman (3 for 3, including a double and a triple, 1 RBI), Ethan Bewer (3 for 3, 2 RBIs), and Grayson Laurich (3 for 4, 2 RBIs).

KM Global Works with Magee in Combating Invasive Species


Chase M. and Mia M., KM Global students, supported Ms. Thuilliez's 3rd/4th Grade class at Magee Elementary School. They taught the students about invasive species and their environmental impact, preparing them for the upcoming goat grazing project at Magee.

KM Global Shows Global Competency


KM Global has 4 students being awarded a Global Competence Certificate at their Spring Community Showcase. Global competence is the capacity to examine local, global and intercultural issues, to understand and appreciate the perspectives and world views of others, to engage in open, appropriate and effective interactions with people from different cultures, and to act for collective well-being and sustainable development.

KMMS Band Performs at Kalahari

Explore Students Visit the Zoo

Field Trips, Field Trips, and More Field Trips! That's what May is all about! Yesterday, our Navigator friends took a field trip to the zoo to do some singing with Mrs. Cavanaugh. They had a blast!

Dousman Dockhounds Field Trip

Dousman Elementary had their first ALL-School 5K-5th grade field trip since before covid this past Thursday. 375 students, staff and chaperones attended the Lake Country Dockhounds' School Day Game. Along with the game, there were several extended learning opportunities provided by the National Weather Service, SE WI Master Gardeners, Cozy Nook's Calves, and FFA Fort Atkinson. Special thanks to Mrs. Lea and the Dousman PTO for making this happen.

Magee Really Does "Got Goats" Now!

The goats arrived Wednesday and the excitement is palpable. The student-led goat tours have begun... only $1 each! What a wonderful job by our learners and the staff in supporting this learning opportunity.

Jr. Laser Cheerleading

Interested in cheerleading in the fall? Students entering grades 6-8 in the fall are encouraged to sign up. Practices are twice per week July-October, with Saturday morning performances at local football games.

Adult Spanish Classes - Live Virtual

Two opportunities are offered this summer to learn basic conversation skills. These courses are held in June, and will help learn basic conversation skills for travel and another course for Spanish in the kitchen.

Spanish Summer Camp – Live Virtual

Students will blaze new trails “visiting” a zoo! Each class students will explore new animals and habitats at the zoo all in Spanish! Class will include interactive activities learning Spanish vocabulary. For grades 1-5. Join us for this one week in June.

Youth Volleyball Mini League

Students in grades 1-4 during the fall of 2023 are encouraged to join us for a mini fall volleyball league. Learn technique and game play with Girls Varsity Coaches and players. League is held on Fridays at the high school beginning in September.

Boys Basketball Summer Camp

Laser Academy camp will be held for two weeks, June 19-22 and July 17-20. This is for students in grades 3-8.  Work with high school varsity coaches and players on skills, drills, and game situations.

Little Laser Academy for students in grades K-2 will be held July 17-20.  All grades are based on the 22-23 school year.

Girls Basketball Summer Camp

Girls currently in grades 3-8 are invited to participate in basketball camp June 12-15. This camp will focus on offensive/defensive fundamentals with plenty of competitions. KM Varsity Coaching staff and Varsity players will instruct campers in station work and one-on-one instruction. Grade is based on the 2022-23 school year. Each player will receive a free Laser Way Basketball Camp t-shirt. Campers should bring their own ball and a water bottle.
