SF Restaurant Week

FRIDAY APRIL 5 - SUNDAY, APRIL 14, 2024

SF Restaurant Week is back Friday, April 5th - Sunday, April 14th. Restaurants can register now and submit their menus later (deadline for menus is March 18th, 2024). REGISTER NOW!

What is SF Restaurant Week?

SF Restaurant Week is a promotional campaign designed to drive traffic directly to restaurants. Participating restaurants offer special prix-fixe menus throughout 10 days at one (or more) of the following price points.

Brunch or Lunch (2+ Items or Courses): $10, $15, $25, $30, $40

Dinner (3+ Items or Courses): $30, $45, $65, $75, $90

You can offer as many different price point menus as you'd like from the above pricing options, but menus must be offered throughout the duration of the event. Please do not use any price points other than those above for Restaurant Week designated menus. You are welcome to offer your regular restaurant menus during the event as well.

Tip: Not sure how to make these price points work for your restaurant? Though you must choose from the above price points, you can get creative with your offerings (i.e. dinner for two, drink pairings, meal kits, etc.).

Menus can be offered for indoor dining, outdoor dining, takeout, and/or delivery.

For more information, check out the guide linked below, which includes detailed event information, FAQs, and tips for what to consider when creating your menus:

Guide for Participating Restaurants

How Can I Register as a Participating Restaurant?

Participation is free for GGRA Members! Members, REGISTER HERE.

Please note, you must have an active GGRA membership to participate.

If you are not a current GGRA member, you can join here or login and renew your membership here, and then register for SF Restaurant Week at no additional cost.

Important Deadlines:

Registration: The deadline for all participating restaurants to register is Monday, March 18th. We ask that all menus are also submitted to us by then so we can fully promote your restaurant’s offerings. Restaurants can register now and submit menus later.

Menu Submission: Sooner is better, but no later than March 18th please!

Once you register, you will receive an email with menu submission instructions. Your prix-fixe menu(s) must be sent to us (in PDF format, incorporating the SF Restaurant Week logo) no later than Monday, March 18th. Don't panic if you do not receive confirmation right away, we will send out all confirmations and menu/photo submission links at the beginning of March.

Please contact ggra@ggra.org if you have registered and do not receive a confirmation email by March 6th.

It is to your advantage to submit your menus/offerings as early as possible. The sooner you submit the necessary documents, the more likely you are to be featured in our marketing and promotional collateral and in our social media and digital communications. Restaurants that submit earlier also tend to get more reservations.

APEC Grants

GRANTS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IMPACTED BY RECENT APEC SUMMIT

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has appropriated I believe around $3,000,000 to cover losses by businesses impacted by APEC. The exact formula and eligibility criteria will be determined by OEWD and the fund administrator. OEWD determines the scope of work and then will partner with an organization to administer the funds.

We will follow up with OEWD and report as soon as we have all the pertinent information for applying for grants.

Credit Card Class Action Lawsuit

From KO Lawyers

If you owned a business at any time between 2004 and 2019 and you took Visa or Mastercard as payment you may have been overcharged fees on credit card transactions.

MasterCard and Visa were both sued for overcharging credit card transaction fees during that time. A $5.5 billion class action settlement was reached that now allows qualifying businesses to submit claims to recover a portion of those fees. Our law firms are experienced in class action law and are here to ensure your company gets paid what is due. If qualified, we’ll ensure your claim is submitted correctly and on time. If we don’t get your money back, you will not owe us anything.

Small Business Advisory Forum Security Summit

FEBRUARY 1 AT BILL GRAHAM CIVIC AUDITORIUM

The SFPD Chief's Small Business Advisory Forum held its 4th Annual Security Summit on February 1 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

The Summit provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to meet station captains and fellow business owners. The guest speaker was San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins. Certificates of appreciation were presented to SOMA West CBD for all their work in keeping streets clean and safe and to Suzie Ferras for her organizing of Art Walks which attract people to small businesses!

Before the Summit began at 9:00 am, we were provided with coffee by Fermentation Lab and donuts by Les Croissants. After the summit concluded at noon, bento boxes containing delicious food was supplied by Kippu Sushi & Roll House.

This event would not have been possible were it not for Mary Conde, Senior Vice President at Another Planet Entertainment, who was instrumental in, not only making the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium available, but she and Colby Jones, Special Events Director Producer, set up the stage, seating and sound and video system!

Sincere thanks to SFPD Chief Bill Scott and Assistant Chief David Lazar.
