Spring is in the Air!

As we all welcome the vibrance of spring, Texas Tech Public Media invites you to join us in our mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities through the power of public media.

Your Donation Benefits Local Classrooms

Did you know that when you donate to support national programs like NOVA, you're contributing to educational initiatives right here in West Texas? Through platforms like PBS LearningMedia, teachers can seamlessly integrate enriching content into their lessons, fostering engaging and exciting learning experiences for students.

Each month, 4,000 teachers of West Texas use learning resources provided by Texas Tech Public Media, and 26,000 families in the region utilize PBS KIDS resources.

Your generosity plays a vital role in making this possible.

AP Summer Institute

In addition, last year's AP Summer Institute was an incredible success. Texas Tech Public Media helped families save over $672,000 in college expenses, and it also helped West Texas students qualify for college credit on 838 AP exams.

PBS KIDS Kindergarten Readiness

As part of our PBS KIDS kindergarten readiness initiative, Texas Tech Public Media helps families develop essential skills to prepare for school. This includes providing resources that help build essential language, literacy, math, movement, self-care, and social skills. Thanks to your support, Texas Tech was able to provide the following resources to families in the last year:

  • 4,000 books and reading guides
  • 4,000 handwriting kits
  • 3,000 counting kits
  • 1,200 language and literacy activities

None of this is possible without your valuable support. Pledge your donation today to ensure these endeavors continue strong!
