Our wonderful PTO Enrichment Chairs Domini Giachetti and Ashley Ortwein have organized a fun week for our students to celebrate Read Across America!
READING BINGO
Students can visit the library all week during recess to play READING BINGO with a chance to win a Scholastic book. Their mission is to get BINGO by completing various tasks: read with a hat on, read to a friend, read under a table, read a book with rhymes and more! PREVIEW the Reading BINGO game with your children and encourage them to join the fun!
BOOK TALKS
Teachers will incorporate BOOK TALKS into next week's curriculum. In different creative ways, students will share their favorite book, let friends know why the love a book, relate the author's message, and why they recommend it.
