What's Up at North Allegheny School District

Week of March 27-31, 2023

Each week, we will share news from the District and from your student’s building.

  • Please click on your student’s building below to access their building-specific information.
  • Below the links to the building newsletters, you will find important information from the District.

You win some and you lose some! After falling short to West Mifflin in a Study Island Math 6th Grade competition, our team from Ingomar Middle School had to wear the winning school’s colors (West Mifflin), make posters, and a video sharing the winning school’s greatness. The top 30 students from both schools earned a trip to Topgolf to celebrate their success!

Support for Students During Ramadan

Ramadan has begun, and we know that many families in the District and the community are busy preparing for the month ahead. To respect this time of fasting, each school will provide a place for reflection for students during lunchtime. For families observing Ramadan, please let your teacher or principal know how we can best accommodate your students/family during this time.

March 16 Community Connections Recap:

Employment Opportunities

Thank you to everyone that attended the March 16 Career Exploration and Opportunity Fair. We've updated our website to include flyers from organizations that provided information about employment opportunities for our students. In addition, during the next two weeks, prospective employers will visit NASH and NAI during lunch periods with information about job opportunities. For more information, visit our website.

No Requests for Specific Elementary Classroom Teachers

Individual teacher requests will not be granted for the 2023-2024 school year. The District has developed procedures to best match students with classroom settings and teachers. Visit our website for more details on this process.
