Registration for the Solid Waste District Electronics Collection is Now Open!

Registration for the Electronics Collection will be available starting March 1st and will be open until the end of April. This is a mostly free service for residents, aside from some small fees for certain TV’s during the Electronics Collection in which there will be a $5 charge for glass tube televisions that are 24” or less, and $10 for and that are 25” and larger. Fees can be paid with cash or check - no card.



Console, DLP, and Projection screen TV’s are not accepted in this collection. Television screens with broken screens are also not accepted for the safety of the collection volunteers. Click the flyer below to register!

BWC Group Rating Program

There are a few options to fulfill the BWC Group Rating Safety Education Requirement for group members. The options are listed below.


Option 1: On-line BWC courses are available to meet the 2 hour requirement. Go to

Option 3: Free In-Person Seminar - The Ottawa County Safety Council and the ASSP Northern Ohio Chapter are proud to host the 1st TRU Safety Conference held on May 1st at the Catawba Island Club.

 

TRU stands for Teach, Review and Understand safety – this includes all aspects of safety. The purpose of this conference is to provide our safety council members, as well as area employees, with valuable information that addresses accident prevention in the workplace and raises awareness among employees for a healthier safety culture. We have a great selection of speakers lined up to discuss health and mental wellness, workplace violence, agricultural safety and more.

 

Registration is open and will close on April 19. All are welcome to attend this event as safety plays a crucial role in our everyday life.

Important tips and tools to help you complete your online registration:


  1. Our step-by-step guide to using the online registration system can be super helpful! You'll find it on the registration page at the button below. 
  2. We've added some exciting NEW activities to the line-up recently, so be sure to check them out before you register. CLICK HERE TO VIEW NEW ACTIVITIES
  3. Use the festival summary schedule to make a list of the activities you'd like to register for. CLICK HERE to access that schedule. 
  4. The online registration system is best navigated on a desktop or laptop.
  5. You can use a phone or tablet to register, it's just not quite as easy.
  6. If you're registering another person in addition to yourself, you can add them as a guest at the bottom of the first registration page. If you add a guest, when you select your sessions, you will be prompted to choose which participant will attend that session.
  7. If your registration will not advance, you likely need to select yes or no for a Port Clinton pick-up for a van trip. This appears at the bottom of the activities page.
  8. Our online system allows you to go back and modify your festival agenda any time while registration is open.
