Our Mission Is To Maintain And Strengthen The City's Diversity, Equity, And Accountability.

Hello Nicole,

Change takes all of us. From hate crimes to homelessness, each and every one of us have a role to play. In this week's newsletter, you will meet some of those Angelenos who are making a difference - from our Pioneer Women Honorees to Cal State LA students and more.

You will also find ways to join the fight for a safer, stronger and more empowered LA. Join an L.A. REPAIR Committee. Order an LA For All poster. Come to an event and meet our hardworking team of staff and volunteers.

Whatever you do, make sure you stay engaged and stay involved. Los Angeles needs you - and it will take all of us to build an LA For All.

I'm proud to be standing with you in delivering change.

Keep the faith and keep the fight,

- Capri Maddox

Celebrating The 33rd Pioneer Women Awards

Each year, City leaders and the Los Angeles Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) recognize women from across Los Angeles for their contributions to social change and making a remarkable impact to those in the city. This year's theme, "Locking Arms to Solve Homelessness," celebrated 19 women who have played a role in addressing homelessness in Los Angeles. We were honored to host an awards ceremony with Mayor Karen Bass and Council President Paul Krekorian in City Hall's Forecourt with incredible LA organizations, including Las Fotos.

LA Civil Rights Department is home to the CSW along with four other commissions and advisory boards, and CSW's mission is to ensure that all women have full and equal participation in City government and to advance the general welfare of women and girls in Los Angeles. Click here to learn more.

Thank you to Council President Paul Krekorian, Councilwoman Traci Park, Councilwoman Heather Hutt and Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez for leading this celebration with us!

Student's Create Their Own LA For All

Introducing new LA for All Art - from Cal State LA students!

Following last year's successful partnership, 26 undergraduate students in Zachary Vernon and Noami Duckworth's Concept Design class designed their very own LA For All campaign. Each piece defines what an LA For All of belonging, hope, and community looks like through the eyes of the students.

The LA For All Campaign is a citywide anti-hate campaign available in 19 languages and on over 5,000 ad spaces citywide. Click here to join our campaign or find resources at our Stop Hate Resource Hub.

Thank you to these amazing students & Cal State LA for lending your talent to an LA for All!

LA For All Now in Bangla

We've added a new language to the LA for All Campaign: Bangla!

We are excited to add our 19th language to the LA for All campaign - with more to come. Did you know that AAPI individuals make up 16% of the City's population? Especially during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we are excited to celebrate our diverse AAPI communities. This includes Little Bangladesh, which we joined for a parade hosted by Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles (BUFLA) last week, and a five-location APAHM Community Day of Service this past Saturday.

You can access The LA For All graphics in Bangla or any of our languages thru the public assets toolkit or request for a free poster below.
