Women in Science Speaker Series: Illuminating the shoreline with Elizabeth Parkinson | April 11


National Science Foundation (NSF) Fellow Elizabeth Parkinson will present a portion of her NSF research into light pollution on insect ecology. Lizz will discuss a huge, but often overlooked, component of our freshwater communities, insects. Their response to artificial light at night can give us greater insight into our waterways and their connected shorelines.
