Pastor's Message

A Community of Faith

One of my good friends called me as I was walking out the door on Tuesday morning. Her mother died this past April, and together we shared about our experience of loss as well as our new relationship with our dads. Some of the unexpected discoveries we have had in our own journey of grief. As we talked, I shared about things happening in the life of Grace. I told her, "A lot of people are going through really difficult things right now. It's so hard! and...I have been awed by the incredible love and care our community has for each other." I am so thankful and privileged to be your pastor and to be among all of you as you surround each other in prayer, cry together, feed each other, and support one another. As difficult as the past few weeks have been for many at Grace, and this extends to the past few years even, what I have seen is a community of faith at it's best. People who show up, who love abundantly, and who live lives of compassion and care. Thank you for your faithfulness to one another, to God and to living a life of love!

Blessings,

Farewell to Molly Schroeder

Sunday at Both Worship

Dear Grace family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope this letter finds you well and filled with the joy of the Lord.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the time we have spent together as the interim Director of Children, Youth, and Family ministry. It has been a privilege and a blessing to serve alongside such a warm and loving congregation. I am truly thankful for the support and encouragement I have received during our time together.

As I transition out of my role (I will continue to serve in a limited role as long as needed), I want to share my sincere hope and excitement for the future of Grace.  Throughout my time with you, I have witnessed the unwavering faith and dedication of the church members, which fills me with confidence in the upcoming season of ministry. I trust that God has led you to the perfect candidate, Will, to fill the role, someone who will continue to nurture and guide the congregation with wisdom, love, and grace.

Furthermore, I would like to express how much I have enjoyed my time at Grace. The warmth and hospitality extended to me have made me feel welcomed and cherished. The genuine connections and friendships that have blossomed during my tenure will always hold a special place in my heart. It is a testament to the incredible community that thrives within the walls of Grace.

As I move forward, please know that I will continue to keep Grace in my prayers, praying for God's favor and guidance in your ministry. And I know I will be back to worship with you occasionally and grab lunch together. I am confident that under the leadership of Grace, the church will flourish and continue to impact lives for the glory of God.

Once again, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to serve alongside you. May the Lord bless and keep you, and may His grace and love abound in all that you do.

In Christ's love,

Molly

Grace's Opportunities for Giving

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ

This is Maria from Ukraine. She wanted to thank you for the 1347 meals you funded through your recent donation to Feed My Starving Children. They are making a profound impact on the lives of individuals living in crisis!

“I received this package a long time ago when I lived in the far east in Ukraine where the first war started, when the Russians come. I just decided to keep it, hold onto it, because it reminds me I know people made an effort to ship it all across the ocean, ship it to the Ukraine, and deliver it to me. When I see it, I’m always grateful for that. Please thank people who packed, who shipped it to me because it seems like it came directly from God”

This woman hung on to that empty bag for 10 years as a reminder of hope and God’s provision to her through you. When our Partner Mission Eurasia brought a truck full of FMSC food to feed her and other refugees again in 2022, this time, she broke down in tears and thanked God!

Please help us spread the word about FMSC’s mission! Share these 3 easy ways.

  • Pray
  • Pack
  • Provide

Thank you. Until all are Fed
