Best-selling author Rachel Beanland will discuss her latest novel, This House is on Fire, at the JCC’s The Barbara Eisenberg Literary Luncheon.

Set in Richmond, Virginia, 1811, the novel follows four people whose lives become forever intertwined after a devastating theater fire on Christmas night. Their decisions in the heat of the moment will impact countless others.

Rachel Beanland is also the author of Florence Adler Swims Forever and is the 2023-2024 Writer in Residence at the University of Richmond.
