WELCOME TO WEEK 1:
VICTORY OLYMPICS WEEK
May 30- June 2
(No Camp May 29)

Dear Victory Family:
We are excited to offer Camp Victory in Orlando! We are thrilled you have decided to join the Victory Family. Every week you will receive a newsletter, which will give you insight on how to dress your little one, any changes to the schedule, up and coming need to knows, etc. Please read them weekly and share them with family that need to know. The newsletter is also located on our website.
Please remember we offer a concierge car loop service. After your campers feel comfortable walking in by themselves, you can drop them off and keep going, before 8:45am; we will clock them in. Pick up will run similarly, as long as you have your Victory car tag hanging from your rearview mirror you will be able to gain access to your camper in the car loop between 4pm and 6pm. If you do not have your car tag, we will ask for identification and we will check our database to make sure you are an approved pick-up provider.
If campers have left something, please feel free to text us to let us know, and we will have it waiting for you the next day at camp. No need to get out of your car : ) Car tags will be picked up at your site's Launch Party, or on the first day (please grab one for every person who needs one).
You should have received your Launch Party dates via text or email. The Launch Party will help prevent the first day jitters, and it allows you to take a tour, drop off medication, get your car tags, meet a Victory Team Member, and ask questions.
Week four and eight are the only weeks that campers MUST wear their camp shirts.
We also want to thank you in advance for your patience, this will be our first summer working out the kinks in our new management system. Please remember to OPT IN to text alerts.
Again, we cannot wait to meet you all. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let us know immediately. We can be reached at info@victorykidsports.org OR 321.216.2011.
Welcome to TEAM VICTORY!!
Best,
Dr. Melissa Patton, MA, EdD - President & COO

Pull into the parking lot and follow Victory signage to the door next to the football stadium. You will see a tent with tables under it. There will be a coach sitting at the table. You will check in at this table. You will receive your camper's name tag and color group wrist band. If you do not attend a drop in day you will pick up your camp shirt, drop off medication, and pick up car loop tag. Your child will then proceed to home base. Please note, parents are not allowed past check in.

|
This is a BIG week for campers because everyone is brand new. They are nervous about meeting new friends and not sure how they are going to fit in to a new environment.
No worries, Victory has planned to mitigate some of that scariness by encouraging campers to employ teamwork and make friendships through minute to win it games, Victory Olympics field day events, and other team building exercises.
We’ve invited back a Camp Victory favorite to break the ice, Coach Reed and his Ninja Warrior Course will help the children learn to lean on their new friends to get through the challenging obstacles. Campers will bring their swimsuits and towels this week because our Victory campus will be filled with inflatable water slides, bounce houses, and inflatable obstacle courses. We will cool down with a Cool Yeti frozen treat.

LEAVE THE DEVICES AT HOME
VICTORY IS A NO TECH ZONE!!
|
|
Yep, you heard it right, please leave their devices at home = ). We keep them super busy and by day two they will forget all about them.
If you need to check in with your child text 321.216.2011 and we can update you on how they are doing (but please be patient, some of our campuses sit on 10 acres, and it may take us longer to locate their rotation to update you). They will not be allowed to text, chat, Facetime, or game while at camp. IF your child is found with a device, camp staff will put it in a safe place. Victory is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Victory has a 0 Tolerance policy when it comes to bullying, touching other campers, and the use of profanity. If you think your camper may fall into one of these categories please prepare them for our strict policy. Campers who break rules or who make it uncomfortable for other campers to have a good time are not encouraged to come back to Camp Victory. At Victory, we do not hesitate to ask a child to not return if they are not following the rules and/or they receive multiple incident reports.
Please take a minute to read our rules of the road with your child.
|
|
|
Please arrange time to visit Camp Victory during Project Launch; plan to drop off medication and/or tour camp, get your car tag, and meet management. You will fill out the medication form and leave their medication at camp. Please do this prior to coming to camp on May 30 to alleviate back up at morning check in.
|
Don't forget their reusable water bottle. Bring it to camp everyday OR use the water fountains at Viera & West MLB
|
|
|
|
Please apply sunscreen before they are dropped off. If leaving your sunscreen at Victory, please put your child's name on it.
