Meal with a Mentor, A Connect Edina Program Launches


Make a big impact in a small amount of time! Meet a local youth for a one-time lunch around your schedule. We are looking for adults from all backgrounds, levels of education, and fields to participate.

Join us June 14th at Arden Park for the Annual Lucky Duck Fundraiser

Purchase a duck, decorate it to your liking, and float it down the creek to win glory and fabulous prizes!


  • Children's Race at 5:30 pm. $20 donation per duck, with a multiple-kid family discount. Winner of most "dapper duck" and fastest duck receives a season pass to the Edina Aquatic Center


  • Adult Race at 6:00 pm. $40 donation per duck for adults, $200 donation for businesses. Winner of most "dapper duck" receives a gift card for adult beverages. Winner of fastest duck can designate $500 to the nonprofit of their choice.

The Parade starts at 10 am on July 4th, starting behind City Hall and traveling east on 50th Street to Halifax.


Fireworks start at 10 pm on July 4th, launching from Rosland Park.


The First John Phillip Sousa Memorial Band will play onsite starting at 8 pm.

Edina 4th of July–Showcase Your Business to More Than 20,000 Residents


Team up with the Edina Community Foundation to celebrate the 4th of July. We have multiple ways to get involved.

Connecting with Kids Leadership Awards Recognized Seven on March 10

Each spring we recognize a group of adults and students who have served, uplifted, or empowered the youth in our community or in communities in need.


Our 2023 slate of honorees included a coach who has made an outsized impact in youth athletics as well as six high school students who have distinguished themselves with their volunteer endeavors.


Our keynote speaker was LeeAnn Rasachak, CEO of WomenVenture.

Edina Neighborhood Reads, A Connect Edina Program Launched in February


More than 200 Edina residents (from five-plus countries!) connect to their community by joining neighborhood book clubs. Edina Neighborhood Reads launched under the Edina Reads umbrella in February 2023.


Interested parties were organized into independently-managed neighborhood clubs. Edina Neighborhood Reads will host two events a year for all book club members to come together to celebrate.

ECF Executive Director Dick Crockett Retired on his 20th Anniversary

Dick Crockett, longtime Executive Director of the Edina Community Foundation retired on March 15th.
