Scrim, one half of the acclaimed New Orleans duo $uicideboy$, is sharing a deluxe edition of his 26-track solo album “lonely boy” that features 18 brand new songs, bringing the total number of original tracks to 44. The album, released via G59 Record$ on February 2, secured the #1 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and #137 on the Billboard 200, as well as the #1 spot on Spotify’s US Album Debut Chart and #4 on Spotify’s Global Album Debut Chart (Feb 2-4). The album’s single “maserati slick,” landed the cover of the popular Spotify playlist Tirade, along with editorial playlists New Music Friday, RAGE, New Joints, Frontline and more. Watch lyric videos with captivating visuals for the first 26 songs HERE. The Deluxe Edition of album can be streamed HERE.

The latest single from the Deluxe Edition, ‘#scrimjustwannahavefun,’ is a testament to Scrim's versatility as an artist and producer. Known for his dark and edgy hip-hop, this track showcases a different side of his creativity, as he delves into themes of enjoyment and liberation. With an infectious beat and catchy hook, Scrim invites listeners to let loose and embrace the moment. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to his music, "#ScrimJustWannaHaveFun" is sure to leave you craving more of his signature style with a playful twist.

In celebration of the album, Scrim released two music videos from 'lonely boy.' The first is for "paradise," an honest and vulnerable track in which he explores themes of isolation, longing for connection, and the struggles of fame and success. The second is a music video for "chrome cowboy," featuring visually stunning scenes of Scrim in the desert surrounded by cacti and fluorescent scorpions, as he pursues a mystical horse and drives a dune buggy.

ABOUT $UICIDEBOY$:

$uicideboy$ dig light out of the deepest corners of darkness, addiction, hopelessness, and pain. The New Orleans-bred duo of cousins—Scott Arcenaux, Jr. a.k.a. $crim and Aristos Petrou a.k.a. Ruby da Cherry—translate a fight against demons into a clever, caustic, and corrosively catchy apocalyptic vision of hip-hop pierced with punk intensity and laced with Southern flows. The world first met $uicideboy$ in 2014. After releasing dozens of projects and playing hundreds of sold-out shows, they’ve generated billions of streams and earned multiple RIAA certifications, including the platinum “…And To Those I Love, Thanks For Sticking Around” and gold “Carrollton,” “2nd Hand,” “Runnin’ Thru The 7th With My Woadies,” “Paris,” and “Kill Yourself (Part III).” Beyond their critical-acclaim from Billboard, XXL, Alternative Press, Pigeons and Planes, Hypebeast, Revolver, and more, they built their label G59 Record$ into a bastion of independent talent and home to Night Lovell, Shakewell, Germ, Ramirez, and others. The kingpins of the trap-metal and punk-rap world have garnered over 24 billion collective streams, currently positioning them among the list of Top 100 Most Streamed Artists Of All Time. Their third official full-length LP Sing Me A Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation (released in 2022) marked their 3rd consecutive Top 10 album debut on the Billboard Top 200. In 2024, they’ll introduce their 4th official full-length album and support with their annual rap-metal Grey Day Tour.
