MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

For the past 20 years, it is impossible to calculate the impact and legacy that Tim Grove, our Director of Adult Faith Formation and Christian Initiation, has had as a Lay Ecclesial Minister at St. Patrick. His ministry has assisted over 120 people to become initiated or in full communion with the Church, impacted numerous lives through the deepening study of God’s word and sharing of faith, facilitated over 330 people encountering God through Welcome Retreats, organized several marquee mission events featuring Matthew Kelly, Fr. Dave Dwyer, C.S.P., and Marcellino D’Ambrosio, among others, and far too many other contributions to tabulate. He has been an amazing gift to our community, well before I ever arrived as pastor. I am grateful to him, humbled by his willingness to serve, and honored to have served and partnered with him in ministry. He has been a pioneer and steadfast rock for lay ministry in the Church. God has worked powerfully through him in our community and beyond. Thank you, Tim! As a community, we will bless and honor Tim at the 11:00 a.m. mass this coming Sunday as he prepares to depart for his next step in ministry and life. If you are able, I hope you will join us!

As we each take our next best step with God in the journey of faith, may He guide, bless, and protect us.

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
