EXCITING RENOVATION

OF THE SANCTUARY

CHOIR LOFT

We are glad to announce that the sanctuary choir loft renovation will commence this coming Monday, April 28. Work will include a complete demolition and rebuilding of the present choir risers in the loft to make them safer and enhance the sightlines of the choir members. The new loft will have hardwood flooring with safer steps and handrails. The work of the renovation will occur on weekdays and is being conducted by J.D. Beam, a respected general contracting firm based in Raleigh, and is projected to last 4 to 6 weeks. The renovation will not interrupt our services. However, the organ will be out of commission, and the choir will sing from the sanctuary floor for the duration of the project. We look forward to the enhancements and added safety that this renovation will bring to our choir's space!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

TO SERVE LUNCH

We’re excited to partner with And Also With 'Cue on Monday, May 12, from 10:3012:30pm to serve lunch at a local Habitat for Humanity build site—and we need your help! We’ll be preparing and serving around 120 meals to the volunteers working hard to build homes and hope in our community. To keep things running smoothly, we’ll need a team to help pre-make the plates so meals can be handed out quickly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to serve others, meet new people, and make a difference. Whether you can help with food prep, plating, serving, or cleanup, your helping hands are needed! If you can help, please email David With at cueyallevents@gmail.com by May 1.

GOODNESS GROWS

IN NORTH CAROLINA

Michelle and Matt Norman are CBF field personnel serving in Barcelona, Spain. Michelle grew up in Raleigh and Matt is from Western NC (although he grew up on the mission field in Uganda and Greece). They are home for a few months planning their daughter’s wedding, so we are privileged to have an opportunity to hear from them on Sunday, April 27. Mark your calendar for a chance to learn about the ministry they are providing in a region of Spain that is less than one percent Protestant and most of the population are two to three generations removed from the Church.
