One of the promising features of AI for video editors is automatic clip logging. Options include scene, face or logo recognition and scene detection in Premiere; not to mention all the automatic ways we have of converting speech-to-text. Plus a flock of utilities, plugins and software to help us manage media outside of the NLE itself. I'm writing this a few hours before a major blizzard is projected to hit New England. Since our area tends to lose power when a cloud floats over, I figured I'd better get this done a day earlier than usual. Just to be safe. Hopefully power will be back on by the time you read this. If not, I'll get back to you when I can.
Until next week, stay warm, stay healthy and edit well.
