Across Illinois, black families step up in extraordinary ways to provide stability and care for children in need. Greenlight is dedicated to keeping families together and advancing equity in child welfare through legal assistance and support for kinship care.

The heroic efforts of black kin caregivers deserve recognition and resources. Together, we can build stronger families and a more just future.

GREENLIGHT'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

Shaysa Villa, MSW, LCSW and Francesca Cole-Barnes, LCPC, both serve as Greenlight Counseling partners, providing 20 free sessions of therapy to student survivors of sexual harm.

Shaysa Villa, MSW, LCSW

Shay is the owner and clinical director of Roamers Therapy LLC in Chicago. In this role, she supervises licensed and pre-licensed psychotherapists and handles marketing, business development, and administration.

Francesca Cole-Barnes, LCPC

Francesca is the founder and lead clinician at Faith Changes Behavior. She is also a published author and an adjunct instructor at the Erikson Institute where she teaches Infant Observation.

Sally Kalisha, CPA

Sally Kalisha is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant with a Master's in Accounting from the University of Delaware. She currently serves as the Internal Audit Senior Manager at Allstate. In this role, Sally drives excellence while contributing to organizational strategy and governance.
