BIOGRAPHIES

Jerome Berthier

CEO, Deeplink.ai

Jérôme is an accomplished Artificial Intelligence and Data professional with more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He has led a team of over 40 professionals in this area before launched his own AI startup, Deeplink. Jérôme has excellent communication skills, and he can simplify complex technical concepts for effective communication with teams of varying technical expertise. Passionate about new technologies while keeping a critical eye, he has been frequently interviewed by the media, including newspapers, radio, and TV. He is also a board member of the Empowerment Foundation, where he campaigns for awareness of the impact of technology on our daily lives and for the importance of critical thinking from an early age.

Katia Elkaim

Cantonal Judge

Katia is an inspirative woman with a diverse range of interests and expertise. She studied law at the University of Lausanne and passed her bar exam and practiced as a lawyer for 15 years before becoming a judge in the court of Lausanne district, specialized in commercial matters. She served as the president of the District Court of Lausanne before being appointed as a cantonal judge in the canton of Vaud. Katia has a keen interest in technology and how it shapes our daily lives. She is passionate about staying up to date with the latest technological advancements and exploring their impact on society. Additionally, Katia is an artist at heart and enjoys expressing her creativity through painting and writing. She is a published author and has written numerous articles for the Empowerment Foundation, where she also serves as a board member. Katia's experience as a judge and her passion for technology and the arts have shaped her unique perspective on the world.

Anais Patry

Investment Advisor, Banque Syz

Anaïs Patry has a BA (Hons) in International Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom) and a MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School (France). After starting her career in 2011 as a Risk analyst within BNP Paribas (Paris), she gained valuable investment experience through her roles as Structured Product Sales (Leonteq (Monaco, Geneva), Vontobel (Geneva)) & Portfolio Manager (Stanhope Capital, Geneva). She joined Bank Syz in March 2022 as an Investment Advisor and Structured Products Lead to advise HNW/UHNW clients on cross-asset investment opportunities as well as manage the development of the structured products offering for the Bank.

Valerie Noel

Head of Trading, Banque Syz

Valérie Noël is the Head of Trading at Banque Syz (all asset classes). She was the Head Trader for SYZ Asset Management for over a decade. Her other accomplishments include managing multiple IT migrations and the digitalization of the Group. She returned to Bank Syz as Head of Trading Desk in 2021, after a short but instructive experience as Head of Market in a digital financial institution. Prior to joining the bank, Valerie held senior trading roles at HSBC Private Bank (Head of US Equity Trading in Geneva), Crédit Commercial de France (Geneva), Salomon Smith Barney (Geneva / New York) and UOB (Geneva). Valérie graduated from IMD Executive education – Strategies for Leadership.
