The following are shout-outs and thank-yous from various members of our community.

|
Dear PTSA,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your generous support last week and for ALL that you do for the school throughout the entire year. Even though I’m new to International, it quickly became apparent to me what an incredible community this is and how much time, energy, and care you put into supporting your students and the staff. What a gift you are! A million thanks for your efforts!!
I appreciate you!

Hello!
I am hereby sending a huge shout-out to the wonderful IS PTSA for making us staff feel loved, valued, and pampered this year! My personal favorites were the Taiwanese bracelet, gift cards, French Bakery, Panera, and the delicious lunch. I truly appreciate you all taking the time out and showering immense generosity in this beautiful manner. You have now set the bar high for all the other parents across the school district! LOL
With gratitude and appreciation,
Nidhi Chaturvedi

Hi,
This is Loren, one of the teachers that you took such good care of last week. I just want to say thanks for everything. My wife teaches at a large high school and she said the treatment she got vs what we got here at IS was night and day. Thanks for making my day every day last week.

Thank you for all of the wonderful treats last week! I looked in my box today and it was such an amazing surprise to see the gift cards in my card, WOW! Most of all we appreciate your constant support at home with your children helping them to take time to study, learn how to manage their time, and how to have positive interactions with staff and other students.
Thank you, and have a wonderful spring!

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello Everyone,
This past week, we had our focus week, but we also had our first Career Day at IS. Wonderful speakers gave MS and HS students the chance to learn about careers and how they pursued them. We look forward to making this an annual event, which will be unique to IS. Additionally, this week we have our annual event, the ISPTSA General Meeting, featuring a FREE dinner catered by Garlic Crush – yum! During the dinner, we will have IS alumni available for a meet and greet at the tables, as well as a group event before the meeting. If you want to hear some enthusiastic talk about IS, this is the event to attend. Feel free to bring your students too, as "college students" are cool! Following the dinner, we will hold our general membership meeting, during which we will seek approvals for a working budget to support the PTSA's ongoing work. We will also hold elections for the new board, and it will be an opportunity to bid farewell to our current board members, as some will continue serving while others step down. Russell White, our principal, will address the current state of IS, and we will present the Golden Acorn Award. Please join us for a wonderful conclusion to this year. Reservations are required to ensure we have enough food. We look forward to seeing you there.
Thank you,
|

FACILITIES RELOCATION FOR JING MEI AND BIG PICTURE
After careful consideration, Interim Superintendent Art Jarvis made the decision to relocate Jing Mei to the current Wilburton building and to relocate Big Picture to the current Eastgate building. While both buildings have aspects that can serve either school community well, some key considerations led to this final decision: building capacity, timing, land geography, location and transportation.
