Staff Housing - Ground Breaking

Homecoming Weekend

Have you been part of the conversations over the past 30+ years that we really need staff housing, reflecting our first principle of honoring the inherent worth and dignity of all.

It is actually happening - the first priority for the capital campaign to provide for staff and more fully do the work of our mission.

Sunday, May 28 at 1:00, we will have a celebratory blessing of the land and ground breaking. Be part of this significant event.

Message from the Board - KC Boyce

If you know me (or have just read anything I’ve written), you know that The Mountain has had an outsized positive impact on my life. As I complete my final term as a Trustee and hand off Board leadership to the extraordinarily talented Anna Martin, I want to thank you, our members and supporters, for the opportunity to serve The Mountain for the past six years.

Although we’ve faced our share of adversity during that time (who could’ve foreseen a global pandemic?) and have seen some significant changes at The Mountain, I’m confident that this special place in Western North Carolina is better positioned than ever to have outsized positive impacts on everyone it touches. If you haven’t been to The Mountain in a while, include it in your summer or fall plans to come see what we’ve been up to and perhaps experience one of our amazing programs. I’ll see you on The Mountain!
