CelebrateHER Feature: Victoria Moore

My name is Victoria Moore, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. I matriculated in the field of Psychology and Sociology, and obtained my Bachelors of Arts degree from the illustrious Grambling State University. Following graduation, I began working as Business Administrator. A career that I would say found me, but one I would grow to love.

Though I am young, my experience has awarded my many wonderful opportunities. I am currently working at Envision Media and Marketing, where I to work as the Office Manager.

To date, some my greatest accomplishments are starting my Virtual Assistant company, Moore Concepts, serving as president of The National Society of Distinguished Black Women, Inc., and most recently, joining the 46th class of emerging leaders under the Greater Shreveport Leadership Program.

The blueprint to my life is Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Since high school, these verses have guided me during my toughest times, and will continue to do so even during my greatest moments.

When I am not working, I like to enjoy the simplicity of life by: enjoying a good book, catching up on favorite television shows, or spending quality time with my husband, daughter and family. However, when it's football season I am supporting my beloved Tigers, whether at home or on the road.
