GUNAA National President

Summer is winding down, and that means one thing – it's almost time for the bustling fall season of our beloved alumni association! As proud GUNAA members, we are united in our dedication to support all sports and all aspects of our dear alma mater. Let's show up in full force and showcase our unity and pride. Our shared GSU experience binds us together, and it is this bond that empowers us to make a positive impact on our alma mater.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of being an alumnus is the

opportunity to give back to the place that nurtured our growth. Consider

engaging with professors and students in classrooms, offering mentorship to

aspiring professionals, and providing valuable counseling. Let's explore ways

to channel resources to benefit Grambling State University e.g., internships,

partnerships, or donations.

There is still time to give toward our GUNAA $300k fundraiser: click here. Our collective effort can have a transformative impact on the university's development. By giving back, we create an environment where excellence thrives, scholarships are made possible, and the university continues to shine as a beacon of education and opportunity.

In the Tiger Spirit,

GOLDEN TIGER ANNOUNCEMENT

Gram Fam Class of '52!

Mrs. Vera Davis-Collins, our 91- year-old GRAMFAM resides in Kenmore, WA and recently visited our national office. Her husband, Mr. Cecil Collins, was also GramFam C/O '53. Her daughter sent the following: "While dad is not with us anymore, Mother was very excited to see her alma mater. To my knowledge she had not visited after graduating and she is now 91 years old. Her story is quite unique having lived on a Native American Reservation in South Dakota as a teacher." Thank you for gracing us with your presence!
