Dear CHS folks: As you enjoy the Memorial Day weekend, I hope you will be looking ahead to June and all of the wonderful choices you can make to be in communion with others from Holy Spirit. That said, a reminder that we'd love to hear what you were up to in April and May. The deadline for the Dove's June issue is Tuesday May 30th.  Email submissions to me please: vicki.brooks24@comcast.net.  Blessings to you all!

On June 6, we will discuss the Preface and Chapter 1. Notice there is a study guide for each chapter, beginning on page 91.

In our Parish family...

Fanta quietly passed away this evening (5/23/23) surrounded by her children. She now rests peacefully with God. Hold her and her children in your prayers. There is a Go Fund Me page for donations to help with the funeral and on-going expenses for the family.

Preparing for Sunday

(Lectors & Intercessor and others serving)

Find the lessons appointed for Sunday here >

Sunday's scriptures welcome the arrival of God’s Spirit at Pentecost. In Acts, God’s Spirit, poured out on the disciples, astonishes and empowers the community. Paul explains that we come together to worship and serve in the Holy Spirit. Jesus comes to his friends and breathes on them the Spirit of peace and forgiveness.
