Attention Long Grove residents! The village offers two exciting grant programs that can help you positively impact the community and the environment: the Community Building Grant program and the Invasive Species Remediation Grant program.
The Community Building Grant program was created to help invest in local events, programs, and community enhancements. Eligible projects include beautification efforts, preservation, and community events. The grant provides funding for each project, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
The Invasive Species Remediation Grant program provides funding for work within the Village to control invasive plant species in Long Grove. Invasive plants such as teasel, buckthorn, and garlic mustard can cause significant damage to the local ecosystem and reduce the area's biodiversity. The grant provides up to $2,000 in funding for each project, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Residents can visit the village's website for more information to apply for the either grant program. Find out more: longgroveil.gov/grants
