TEPS Night at the SJ Giants Game |

We can't wait to get out and do something as a Temple Emanu-El Preschool (TEPS) community again and a fundraiser with the SJ Giants will be a night to remember!! The game is at 5p.m. on June 17th and we have a section in the stands set aside for us! Please join your TEPS family and friends for a fun night of baseball.
Rabbi Magat will be throwing out the first pitch and Cantor Shafritz will be helping to lead everyone in "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"!a

Save the date for Tikkun Leil Shavuot. On the night of the festival of Shavuot (the first night of Shavuot in the diaspora), it is traditional for Jews to stay up and learn Torah – a centuries-old custom known as Tikkun Leil Shavuot. We invite you to spend this evening with us as we hold a Torah study and discuss different passages, and how they apply to our daily lives.

Come join us in-person for our Annual Meeting and Slideshow! We are excited to be hosting the meeting this year at Temple Emanu-El and we need your voice! Everyone is welcome to join and we will be starting with a tasty brunch at 11:30am followed by the meeting starting shortly after brunch! There's also the year-end slideshow that you don't want to miss.
If you haven't visited campus recently, this would be the perfect opportunity to see all the amazing work on the 20/20 Vision Project. Temple Emanu-El has truly been transformed.

Jewish Non-Fiction Book Club |

Our next meeting of the Book Club will be on Sunday, June 4th at 7:00PM We will be discussing the book Six Days of War by Michael Oren. In this book, the author discusses the background, the leadup, the events and the aftermath of the 6-Day War in 1967. Mr. Oren describes the events from the perspective the Israelis, the Arabs and the Western and Soviet leaders who were all involved in some way in the war.

Holocaust/Tolerance Education Exhibit at Temple Emanu-El - Free Museum |
NOW OPEN INDEFINITELY!
We are excited to announce that the CHAIM exhibit now a temporary home at Temple Emanu-El.
The purpose of CHAIM is to teach about tolerance and empathy through the lens of the Holocaust. The CHAIM exhibit is appropriate for Jewish kids 5th grade and up, and non-Jews kids 7th and up. This is an important topic for our times.
