Call To Action Zoom Tomorrow

Senator Brandon Creighton

We announced last week that our legislative Call to Action Zooms were going to be moving to weekly, so I hope you have updated your calendar and plan to join us tomorrow! We have a fabulous line-up of Representatives and Senators to give you unprecedented access to Texas Capitol news. This Friday, March 10th, our headline speaker is going to be Sen. Brandon Creighton, the Chairman of the Texas Senate Education Committee. Sen. Creighton has been a leader on education reform for years. He is a recognized expert and we are incredibly fortunate to hear from him. Education has been a priority for many of us, so this is really an amazing opportunity.

We'll also be getting legislative reports from Sen. Bryan Hughes, Rep. Jacey Jetton and Rep. Stephanie Klick. No where else can you hear from so many insiders! I look forward to joining everyone tomorrow!

Women's History Month

“As the longest serving female Chair of either major national political parties, I am proud to celebrate and honor the remarkable women who have made indelible contributions to our Party and country. The Republican Party celebrates women this month and every month, and I look forward to electing even more Republican women up and down the ballot for cycles to come.” - RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel

What you need to know:

  • Under Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s leadership, Republican women made history this past midterm election, resulting in a new record for the number of Republican women serving in Congress.
  • Katie Britt became the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from Alabama and the youngest woman in the Senate.
  • Lori Chavez-DeRemer became Oregon’s first Republican Latina to be elected to Congress.
  • Anna Paulina Luna became Florida’s first Mexican American woman elected to Congress.
  • Monica De La Cruz is the first Republican and first Latina elected to represent Texas’ 15 th Congressional district in the district’s 120-year history.
  • Not only did Republican women make history in Congress, but they made history in state and local races across the United States.
  • Sarah Huckabee Sanders was elected the first female Governor of Arkansas and Leslie Rutledge was elected the first female Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas.
  • Iowa elected a Republican Attorney General, Brenna Bird, for the first time in over 40 years.
  • Soo Hong is the first Asian American Republican woman elected to the Georgia State legislature.
  • The Republican Party has a long history of championing women serving in elected office.
  • Women and families have suffered the economic impacts of the failing Biden economy.
  • Families have lost over $9,300 paying for the increased cost of living thanks to Bidenflation.
  • Luckily, Republicans are stepping up to combat Biden's reckless economic policies.
  • This week, House Republicans passed the REIN IN Inflation Act.
  • While Democrat-led COVID lockdowns have disproportionately impacted women, Republicans are leading the “pro-parent, pro-family revolution” that has empowered parents and students and kept our classrooms open.
  • This week Republicans re-introduced the Parents' Bill Of Rights Act to uphold their Commitment to America and protect students and families.

The bottom line:

Republicans have and will continue to champion women and polices that will support them. The RNC looks forward to electing even more Republican women up and down the ballot for cycles to come.

Every State Is A Border State

Thanks to Biden's Border Crisis, illicit drugs are flowing into our country at an alarming rate, making ever state a border state.

What you need to know:

The bottom line:

The Biden administration is hurting Americans daily by allowing the border to remain unsecure. He needs to get a handle on this crisis and support the border agents who are trying to fix his mess.
