What inspired you to start your fitness journey, and how did you find your way to BodyUniversity?
I gained a lot of weight from stress and it took over my life physically and mentally. In 2012, a friend put me on to BU to start a personalized plan to reach my body goals. I haven't looked back and have been with BU ever since!
What do you enjoy most about working out at Body University?
I love how comfortable you feel working out there, the support you have, and the girlies you get to share your fitness journey with. Iβm forever grateful!
What fitness achievements are you most proud of since joining Body University?
Losing over 70 pounds! Woo!
What advice would you give to other women who may be hesitant to start weight training or prioritize their fitness?
Find your motivation to be in the gym. For me, I love finding new cute fitness outfits or cute water bottles that get me pumped about being in the gym. (Cheesy I know but it helps) Also, I remind myself how good I feel as soon as that hour is up and that itβs all worth it!! That post-workout energy boost is everything!
We like balance here at B.U. So what's your ultimate cheat meal or guilty pleasure treat?
This is hard because I love everything. But my Ultimate cheat meal would probably have to be a cheeseburger, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. Maybe like a piece of warm fruit cobbler to finish it off too.
