March 30th - Sisterhood Healthy Drinks

Sisterhood gathered for a tasty Walk & Talk on Sunday with Or Chadash's third Healthy Drinks event. The group tasted various delicious drinks: rose hips kombucha, lavender kombucha, kefir, golden milk, banana smoothie, blueberry smoothie, matcha, and fresh-squeezed orange juice -- plus some fermented veggies.

A special toast to our contributors: Jackie Freedman, Karen Tovi-Jones, Amy Brilhart, and Christine Berg

Thank you to Amy for coming with blender and fixings in-hand to mix up her smoothies on the spot!

And special cheers to Jackie and Karen for their extra time in preparing thoughtful presentations along with their drinks!

¡Salud! Prost! L'chaim! to everyone's health!

Join Us on April 18th for the

Or Chadash Congregational Seder 2025!

"In every generation let each one feel as if he or she came forth out of Egypt"

(from the Haggadah of Pesach)

Each year the Jewish People throughout the world gather around the Seder table, united in our collective memory of the passage from slavery to freedom.

It is my pleasure to invite you and your family to join me for our Or Chadash Congregational Seder on Friday, April 18th 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. We will be gathering at 5:30 PM to schmooze. The seder will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

We will join together in story (Haggadah means "the telling") and song as together we create a meaningful holiday experience.

This meal promises to be delicious!! The menu includes crudite plate, charoset, gefilte fish, matzo ball soup, salad, grilled vegetables, matzo kugel, roasted chicken, dessert, and coffee, tea, juice and wine (BYO). Kid-friendly chicken-fingers will be available.

I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you, your friends, family and neighbors. Please register below by Monday, April 14th. There is a reduced fee of $5 per person for registering by Friday April 11th.

Wishing you a Hag Sameach (Happy Holiday),

Rabbi Joseph M. Forman

Congregant Activity

Congregants Ilene and Carl Bannwart, members of the Bucks County Choral Society, will be performing on Sunday, April 6, in a concert performance featuring Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. This iconic choral masterpiece takes the audience and singers on an exhilarating journey through themes of fate, love, and revelry and is one of the most celebrated works in all of classical music.

The opening act for this concert will present selections from the innovative Rhizome Project by composer and vocalist Moira Smiley.
