Its been a very busy few months! We had two of our biggest events in October, Pace for Peace and the Shelter Rebuild Auction Fundraiser. Weeks of planning, endless meetings, phone calls and emails and so many logistics phew! - it was exhausting work!

But it was made easy by so many of you! Whether you helped for the Pace or the Fundraiser, you made a big difference.

Yay you!
Pace For Peace

Our annual Pace for Peace was, Saturday, October 1st. It was our 25th year and we had a great turn-out with runners and walkers with their families, friends and pets. The weather was great and everyone was happy to be there Thank you to National Charity League - Vista Oak and Livermore chapters for helping us get prepped and ready for Race Day. It was nice to see some of your familiar faces participating and supporting us!
Thrive & Rebuild Dinner
We had a fabulous sold out event on Saturday October 22nd for rebuilding Shiloh - our domestic violence shelter! Our Auction Fundraiser was very successful and once again we were blown away by the kind community we have been blessed with.

A ginormous shout out to Debby, Anastasia, Christine, Kathleen, Noelle, our Uncle Team - Grecia, Jeri and Helen who braved the chilly winds and checked in our guests efficiently, helped with the auction and check-out. A huge thank you to the young energy from Pleasanton Boys Team Charity for doing all the heavy lifting - we couldn't have done it without any of you.

I am happy to report that we exceeded our goal and received close to 200K! Woohoo!

Volgistics!
Volgistics is our Volunteer Management Database. We use it to manage your information, schedule and service hours.

We are now offering a self-scheduling option to all of you. This will enable you to see your schedule, find open shifts, sign up for shifts/remove yourself from a shift (all without emailing moi!) and also keep track of your service hours and paperwork - all at your own convenience.

Here is the link to to access the volunteer portal, if you don't already have your username and password, please reach out to me.

Holidays!
I guess its not too early to start talking about the holidays right? A team from Enjoy Life More, helped us clean out and sort our holiday supplies so that we can get ready for the much awaited season.
