Tell Governor Youngkin to sign HB1828/SB1436 into Law


Governor Youngkin has until March 24th to sign bills that passed in the 2025 General Assembly into law. He has not yet signed HB1828/SB1436. As you know, this legislation will eliminate out-of-pocket costs (co-pays, co-insurance, or deductibles) for follow-up diagnostic or supplemental breast imaging, including diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and MRIs. The National Breast Cancer Coalition is partnering with researchers affiliated with Harvard and the London School of Economics on a breast cancer study. The study aims to better understand the views of individuals diagnosed with breast cancer on drug regulatory approval. The study is led by researchers at The London School of Economics (UK) and Harvard Medical School (US). The interview would focus on understanding participants' views on different aspects of cancer drug approval in the United States. No existing knowledge is required.
