Franjo Road Phase 3 Detour
The Franjo Road Roadway Improvements Project is moving forward! Phase 1 (SW 184 St to Sterling Dr) is set to reopen the first week of March 2025, while Phase 3 (Sterling Dr to SW 193rd Dr) will begin at the same time with a new detour in place. Local access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles, waste services, USPS, and special needs school buses, but all other commuters and Miami-Dade Transit must follow the detour.

Saga Bay Park Hours Update
Due to the growing popularity of pickleball, we have adjusted the hours for the Saga Bay Park pickleball and tennis courts. Effective March 1, 2025, the new hours will be: Monday–Thursday: 8AM – 9PM, Friday–Saturday: 8AM – 10:30PM, and Sunday: 8AM – 9PM. We appreciate the community’s understanding and remain committed to enhancing the park experience for all.

They provided insights into the ongoing Southland Mall redevelopment project, highlighting how the vision for revitalizing the area began even before the Town’s incorporation, dating back to the 2002 Cutler Ridge Charrette, when the need for transformation was first identified. They also discussed how the Town of Cutler Bay has played a key role in bringing this vision to life by acting as a matchmaker, helping connect stakeholders and resources to turn long-term planning into reality.
