THE LAST SUNDAY AFTER THE EPIPHANY

March 2, 2025

Dear George,

A change has occurred at the Transit Authority, leaving us uncertain of our parking permissions. We are seeking a meeting with the new Transit Authority Deputy Chief to seek assurances that our previous arrangements apply. In the meantime, caution should be employed in parking along Cardo.

Departing Thursday February 27 and returning Ash Wednesday, Kathy Lapsys (Senior Warden); Andrea Spessard (Junior Warden); Lynn Ramsey (Dispensa Project); Padre Rangél and Canon Woodward will travel to Santa Barbara offering reciprocal delegation to our friends at All Saints'-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Montecito as we explore and learn from their various ministries. Prayers for traveling mercies are asked.

Grace and peace,

GFW+

EMPOWERING OUR YOUTH, EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY

As we strive to share God's love and wisdom with the children in our community, we are launching a special initiative, Bibles for Youth, to provide Bibles for local kids in English (Good News for Modern Man) and in Spanish (Dios Habla Hoy). . To support this mission, we invite you to participate in a unique opportunity. For every bag of Educafe Coffee purchased, Educafe will contribute 80 pesos to the fund to purchase the Bibles. This contribution will directly fund the purchase of Bibles, ensuring that every young person in our parish, and many beyond, has access to the teachings of Christ.

Your support will not only nourish their bodies with Educafe but also enrich their spirits with the Word of God. Let's come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young community members.

The cost of 2,280 pesos includes one night’s lodging and three meals. If interested, please provide your contact information on the sign-up sheet in the parish hall at coffee hour after the 10:15 service, or contact Ken Oehlkers at ken.oehlkers@gmail.com.
