LIGHT A CANDLE ON THE SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Guadalupe Torch Run Comes

to the Basilica Shrine

On Sunday, December 1, the Guadalupe Torch Run made its way through Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, stopping at The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for a festive celebration and Mass.

The Guadalupe Torch Run (Antorcha Guadalupana) is an annual relay, torch-passing pilgrimage, symbolizing faith, hope, love, and community. The Torch Run travels each year from Mexico through the United States.

On August 30, the Torch Run began at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City and will end in New York City at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on December 12, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Celebrating the Solemnity

of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

On November 26, we concluded our nine-day Solemn Novena, “The Eucharist: The Source and Summit of the Christian Life." Hundreds of people—in person and online—united in prayer to Our Blessed Mother and her Son, Jesus Christ.

On Wednesday, November 27, the Basilica Shrine welcomed Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, to celebrate Mass on our Feast Day, the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

Thank you for joining us for this year's Solemn Novena and the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Mass.

Thank You for Your Support of GivingTuesday

The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal once again felt your outpouring of faith and generosity during our GivingTuesday campaign.

Together, we celebrated the spirit of giving and reaffirmed our commitment to maintaining the peaceful, sacred space of our beautiful Basilica Shrine, the work of the Vincentians, the enhancement of our Beyond Sunday program, and our ability to continue to share Mary's Miraculous Medal with others.

Put your trust in Him and following His example, always act humbly, graciously, and in good faith.”St. Vincent dePaul

We are deeply touched by the enthusiasm and support shown on GivingTuesday. Each gift will leave a lasting impact, helping us inspire faith and bring Mary’s comfort, healing, peace, and love to all who seek her intercession.

If you were unable to make a gift, it’s not too late! We continue to welcome donations and are deeply appreciative of your support.

Visitors to the Basilica Shrine

Recently the Beyond Sunday program hosted more than 30 pilgrims from The Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, from the Diocese of Metuchen in New Jersey. The day included a tour of the Basilica Shrine and St. Vincent's Rosary Walk, an educational talk about the Miraculous Medal, Confession and Mass, and blessings of religious articles.

Are you interested in a similar experience? Beyond Sunday staff are excited to specially tailor a visit for your group size, individual/group needs, and areas of interest. Reservations are required, and you can schedule your tour Monday through Saturday.
