MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Dear Friends,

He is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed!

We had an absolutely wonderful Easter celebration this past weekend as we gathered to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus! It was so good to see so many people all dressed in their Easter best! You looked great! We even had our best Easter attendance since before the pandemic and our nursery was overflowing!

I loved seeing all the children gathered to hunt eggs in between the services. (I'm told we hid just under 2000 eggs!) I loved seeing families smiling big for their photos in front of the flower cross. I loved hearing all your voices, young and old, joining to sing Christ the Lord is Risen Today!

It was a day that spoke in so many ways of how Jesus conquered all the powers of darkness and death. Not even the grave can hold him back! And THAT is Great News.

And the best part is that Easter is not just one day, it is a way of life. Every day we wake up with the knowledge that Jesus has defeated death and opened the door for each of us to have new life. I hope you find a way to celebrate that every day. We are Easter People and Alleluia is our song!

Grace and Peace,

Ricky
