Our mission is clear: to bring people back to the party and the party back to the people. We will engage, organize, and uplift our communities, ensuring that every voice is heard and every vote counts. By focusing on People, Power, and Progress, we will strengthen our party from the ground up, empower new leaders, and fight for the policies that matter most to working families, young people, and all those who have felt unheard for too long.

PEOPLE

Our party is only as strong as the people within it. Thank you to the volunteers who have been the force and strength of the party. We are looking forward to reenergizing even more volunteers and creating more opportunities for everyone to get involved. There is something for all of us to do!

POWER

We will not wait for change—we will create it. By collaborating with grassroots organizations, nonprofits, and community leaders, we will take on the real issues facing Aiken County. We are working on identifying the most strategic partners that could be impactful to increasing revenue for the party, strengthening our presence in the community, and using our collective power to protect our rights and freedoms in this disastrous political climate.

PROGRESS

The future of our party depends on the next generation. We will work with local youth organizations to ensure that young people feel connected, involved, and empowered. We will actively recruit and train candidates to run in every election—because every seat matters. And most importantly, we will work relentlessly to turn out voters in every election, every time.

These three guiding principles—People, Power, and Progress—will anchor our work for the next two years. I am excited about the journey ahead and confident that, together, we will build a more inclusive, energized, and impactful Democratic Party in Aiken County. We look forward to seeing you at our next monthly meeting on Thursday, March 20th at Odell Weeks at 7pm.

Let’s get to work. Let’s stand together. Let’s organize. Let’s bring PEOPLE back to the party, POWER to our movement, and PROGRESS to Aiken County.

In solidarity,

Christina Cue

Chair, Aiken County Democrats
