Happy Mother's Day

We give thanks to God for the divine gift of motherhood in all its diverse forms and for the mothers and mother figures in our lives, past and present. This Sunday after each service, we will hand out carnations to all the women of the parish in honor of this special day.

What lessons did you learn from your parents, grandparents, or other parent figure? As we celebrate Mother's Day and look ahead to Father's Day, you are invited to join Rev. Outdoor Parish Work Day

Due to this Saturday's forecast, we have decided to delay our outdoor parish work day in hopes of better weather next Saturday, May 20. So mark your calendars, and bring a pair of gloves to help us prepare our grounds and gardens for outdoor worship and summer events. All ages are welcome. Ascension Day

Join our adult choir and clergy for sung prayers, psalms, canticles, and organ music as we celebrate this Feast Day. Take a break from the noisy world around you and enter into a place for quiet contemplation with rich music spanning from the Renaissance to the present. This service will be in-person and livestreamed on our website.

7-week small group for adults taking an informative and in-depth look at the Episcopal faith. It is led by the clergy at St. Michael's, and this week The Rev. Newcomer's Class: Get Connected

Are you new to St. Michael's and wanting to learn more? Please join us next Sunday in the Conference Room for "The Basics," class #1 of three rotating Newcomer classes where we will discuss the basics of our faith in addition to our liturgy, worship, and theology. We will break for the summer months and resume with class #2 on August 20.

How will you grow and nurture your faith this summer? Let St. Michael's help! Join us in the sanctuary at 9:15 AM to learn about our Summer Faith Bags. Then at 9:45 AM, we'll move to the Parish Hall for everyone to build their own bags of spiritual support materials for the months ahead.

Outdoor Worship &

Cookout Sunday Picnic

May 28, Pentecost


Our first Outdoor Worship Service will be on Pentecost Sunday, May 28, at 10:30 AM. After the 10:30 service, we will have a Cookout Sunday & Parish Picnic. Wear red, bring a chair, and stay for fellowship and food. CLICK HERE to help set up, cook, serve, or clean up on May 28. This summer we will have four 10:30 AM Outdoor Services & Cookout Picnic Sundays on the last Sunday of May, June, July, & August. All summer the 8:00 AM service will be inside, and the 10:30 AM service will be livestreamed. Bring on the warm weather!

Indoor Clean Out

It's time for some spring cleaning at St. Michael's! We have collected many "treasures" over the years, some of which need to find their way out of our building. We will be cleaning out and up a number of rooms and donating or selling items as appropriate. Colorado History Museum

S.M.A.S.H. (60+ Fellowship)

Active seniors are invited to join us for a visit to the Colorado History Museum for a special guided tour of the Sand Creek Massacre Exhibit. The cost is $18 for the tour, paid in advance. The museum limits the tour to 20 people, so we will have a wait list if someone cancels. We will carpool from the church at 9:00AM.

Summer Yoga & Lunch

Take a breath from the whirlwind of life and discover the healing sanctuary that yoga has to offer. These classes, led by our very own Amalia, will focus on creating space in the body and mind through heart-opening sequences, breathwork, and meditation. All levels are encouraged to join, and there will be a community lunch (bring your own) following each class. In addition to being our Director of Music, Amalia has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Yog Peeth in Rishikesh, India. No RSVP required. Come as you are.

Pikes Peak Pride

St. Michael's has partnered with First United Methodist Prairie Campus & Trinity Lutheran Monument to host a booth of "Actually Affirming Churches in Colorado Springs" at this year's Pikes Peak Pride. This is an opportunity to share God's love with the LGBTQIA+ community, and we'd be grateful to have your friendly presence. Vacation Bible School 

June 27 - 29

Join us for an immersive Vacation Bible School experience at St. Michael's! This three night program will educate participants about God, provide fun and engaging games and activities, and create opportunities for bonding and relationship building. VBS is open to all entering pre-K through rising 6th grade. There are also important roles available for both adults and teen volunteers (rising 7th grade -12th grade). St. Mike's Parish Retreat & Family Camp Registration OPEN!

We are thrilled that 23 families (over 75 people) have registered to attend our dual Parish Retreat & Family Camp this Summer at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park! We are still taking reservations as long as the YMCA has availability, but please act fast if you are interested. There will be activities, games, and programming for all ages.
