Collaborating with Childcare and Behavioral Health Providers
This quarter we conducted a comprehensive childcare survey to assess provider capacity, barriers, and expansion opportunities. Additionally, CFN and community partners explored the return of the Head Start program to the island including a walkthrough of potential locations.
CFN continues to host it's monthly Healthy Community Collaborative Lunch focused on enhancing connections between health and human service providers by offering trainings and expanding the use of the town's Behavioral Health Community Calendar at ackcares.net. The collaborative lunch is generously supported by the Remain Nantucket Fund which allows CFN to offer healthy and nutritious meals with this convening effort.

Repurposing Office Furniture partnership with Remain
This quarter we partnered with Remain to repurpose high-quality office furniture for local use. This furniture came from businesses in Boston who were re-envisioning their space, and needed to find a new home for the previous furniture. With Remain's partnership, CFN coordinated the opportunity for local non-profits to acquire high quality, lightly used furniture to a number of non-profit organizations.

Coordinating Travel Accessibility for Off-Island Medical Treatment
CFN worked to strengthened coordination with Nantucket Cottage Hospital, the Town of Nantucket, and funders to improve access to off-island medical services. Nantucket is fortunate to have a number of organizations that support medical travel for those who need assistance, and this coordination has provided insightful conversations and collaboration.

Coaching Support for Non-Profit Leaders
Through a coaching fund established in 2022, CFN has offered over 110 complimentary coaching session to non-profit leaders in partnership with Effect Collective, a national non-profit consultancy firm with broad and deep knowledge of Nantucket. We are excited that this offering continues to be available for non-profit leaders. This facilitated coaching support addresses strategic growth, governance, operations, and fundraising support.
Generous donors have continued to contribute to this effort to make this opportunity free of charge.
