We are in the homestretch of winter and looking ahead to warmer weather! I am so grateful to all the Town Employees who managed the bouts of snow and ice over the past 2 months with such great efficiency and safety for all. Berlin is about to emerge from another winter, stronger and more beautiful than ever. 

Speaking of beautification, with Berlin’s Birthday on March 30th and Take Pride in Berlin week ahead, if you purchased a Town Flag last year and want to buy a new one to refresh, you can do so for just $20! Please bring your old flag to Customer Service for Recycling and purchase your replacement flag at a discount. Want to purchase a garden flag or a large flag for the first time? Both cost $30 and proceeds go to the future Berlin Community Center.  

Flags can be purchased in person at Town Hall Customer Service, M-F 8am-4pm, $30 each, or now $20 for a replacement 3x5 if your bring in your old one to recycle (cash or check, no cards). 

I am looking forward to seeing you and your Berlin Flags flying at the upcoming spring events, including Berlin’s Community Wide Yard Sale on 4/5 and Spring Celebration on Saturday 4/19.
