Chandler has been ranked the 17th best city for small businesses in a recent nationwide study by B2B Reviews. To determine which U.S. cities are best in 2025, B2B Reviews compared the most populous cities in all 50 states across key metrics important to business growth and survival.


The City of Chandler recognizes that small businesses are critical to the health of our local economy. The city offers an array of services specifically designed to help entrepreneurs launch or grow a business, including:

Workforce development was one of the key items highlighted during the 2025 State of the City event held earlier this month. ICYMI: Chandler Unified to become first district nationwide with Google cybersecurity course

Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) is making history as the first K-12 district in the United States to offer a Google-sponsored cybersecurity clinic. This innovative program is offered in partnership with the University of Arizona, which has a Near You Network location based in Downtown Chandler. Participating CUSD students will earn an industry-recognized certification, which will prepare them to go into internships to gain real world experience. Approximately 100 students have signed up for the program.

ICYMI: Ryan Companies breaks ground on Chandler Freeways Business Park redevelopment project

Ryan Companies and Alidade Capital have announced plans to begin construction on a redevelopment project at the Chandler Freeways Business Park, located southeast of the Loop 202 and Interstate 10 interchange. The project is comprised of converting a former office building into an 87,600-square-foot industrial building, with a second 102,875-square-foot industrial building to be constructed.


“This is a marquee location that provides employers with great freeway access and the ability to recruit from a large and talented workforce. We believe the new industrial buildings will be attractive to a variety of users and we look forward to this property having a very successful second life," said Micah Miranda, City of Chandler Economic Development Director.

Chandler Endeavor business incubator to host forum on mastering revenue and cost metrics

Chandler Endeavor is a free business incubator program sponsored by the city and managed by community entrepreneurship leaders from ASU's J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. As part of its programming, Chandler Endeavor hosts monthly forums that focus on different topics critical to business success. The next forum will be held on Wednesday, March 5, and the topic is mastering revenue and cost metrics.


You will learn about:

  • Financial statements and projections
  • Cost structures
  • Unit economics
  • Key financial metrics


The monthly forum will start at 5 pm and include an overview of Chandler Endeavor for first-time participants. Chandler Endeavor events are held at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, 249 E Chicago St. Register online to save yourself a seat.
