CASA PROGRAM'S ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2022 
 
Each day that an abused or neglected child shows a glimmer of hope because someone was there to make a difference in their life, the work of the CASA Program must continue. And thanks to the support of many amazing people in this community, the CASA program has made some great strides in 2022.   

  • 461 volunteers and 1087 abused or neglected children were served by our program.
  • 368 volunteers were actively assigned to represent the best interest of 821 of these children in our community.
  • CASA volunteers reported more than 86,763.39 miles and $46,333.65 in personal volunteer expenses.
  • CASA volunteers donated more than 11,975 hours of their time, which equates to a value of $351,746, (based on volunteer hourly rate per independentsector.org hourly volunteer rates.) 
  • Total value contributed by CASA volunteer in this community was $398,080.     
CHAMPIONS FOR CASA, Inc.

Champions for CASA, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit and is the Auxiliary of the Eighth Judicial District Court’s CASA Program effective June 16, 2022.

Our Mission: Promote and support the work of the CASA Las Vegas program through recruitment, training, recognition of, and retention of CASA Las Vegas volunteers, so that every child in foster care in Clark County, NV can be represented.
Become a CASA Volunteer!

Are you interested in becoming a CASA volunteer? Maybe you know someone who would be a terrific child advocate. Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers are assigned by the Judge to advocate for the best interest of a child in foster care. Free informational meetings are scheduled (virtually) four times every month.
