ANNOUNCING
A SPECIAL TOUR OF AMERICA’S FLAGSHIP
FOR FORMER PASSENGERS AND CREW MEMBERS

Event Will Bring Together Supporters with Personal Connections to the Big U
Calling all former Big U crew members and passengers! Here's your chance to step back on board the America’s Flagship.

The SS United States Conservancy will be hosting a unique opportunity to tour the SS United States, open only to former passengers and crew members on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00am at Pier 82 in Philadelphia.*

This powerful experience will give people with a deep, personal connection to America’s Flagship the chance to re-visit some of the vessel’s most iconic locations, including "Times Square," the famous Promenade, the bridge, and, of course, the chance to stand alongside the SS United States’ iconic red, white, and blue funnels.

All participants will also have the opportunity to record short video messages reflecting on their time aboard the Big U and the ship's enduring importance for the Conservancy’s oral history and archival documentation project. The Conservancy is grateful to videographer Bill Magee for his support.

This special opportunity is only available to Conservancy supporters. To join and donate, visit HERE. More details about what will be a very exciting and meaningful day will be forthcoming. PLEASE RSVP BY MAY 12, 2023. Please note that tour capacity is limited. If you have questions about this special opportunity, please don't hesitate to email us at info@ssusc.org or call 888-488-7787.
