The 2025 FaithWorks parish campaign materials have been mailed.

The 2025 FaithWorks parish campaign materials have been mailed to all parishes this week. If your parish does not receive its package by Ash Wednesday, please let me know.

The materials include posters, brochures, donations cards and a campaign manual. These materials are designed to help each parish share the good news of the good work that FaithWorks does.

The posters are meant to be displayed in a prominent locations from now and throughout the year. We do not know who or when the Holy Spirit calls to help. The poster may be the spark that lights a fire in someone's soul.

To help us gain a deeper perspective, the brochures focus on three vulnerable individuals, Lynne, Elie and an anonymous mother, who have agreed to share with us a glimpse of their struggles. They, and we, hope that by sharing of themselves, we will be inspired to share of ourselves with others whose day-to-day life is challenging. It also includes a summary of the impact of your donation to FaithWorks.

The information packages can be distributed in Church, at meetings, at activities or events, and through the mail. The standard letter size makes it easier to mail. Please consider this option to reach those who do not pick up an information package in person.I would very much like to hear of your FaithWorks campaign events and any new or innovative ways to distribute the FaithWorks information packages. I can then share this with others through this newsletter.

Digital materials designed for social media will be sent to each parish.

The materials are designed to draw people’s attention to the FaithWorks website, faithworks.ca There a person can learn more about FaithWorks, read stories of how FaithWorks helps people, watch videos about the work of FaithWorks and become involved by supporting the mission of FaithWorks.

Staff from FaithWorks and our ministry partners are delighted to be invited to a parish and share a few words about the work that FaithWorks helps support. A speaker often enhances a FaithWorks’ event and campaign result. You can book a visit at the FaithWorks Speaker’s Bureau at fwspeakersbureau@toronto.anglican.ca

I pray that every parish participates in this year’s FaithWorks campaign and that every campaign is successful. In this way we can do more to help our struggling and vulnerable sisters and brothers among us.
